Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required; College Education preferred.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must develop proficiency in SAP; willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the efficient function of plant operations, including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Provide leadership to direct reports; coach and counsel employees.
• Lead problem-solving and team-building activities.
• Participate in Performance Management Process (PMP).
• Enforce company policies, goals, and objectives.
• Understand quality goals and ensure ISO 9000 standards alignment.
• Review plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low.
• Oversee training and completion of training checklists.
• Communicate with other departments and locations.
• Assess material and processing equipment for customer requirements and suitability.
• Promote safe work practices and support safety goals.
• Review unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions.
• Follow and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement.
