Job summary

Cala Sourcing Solutions LLC in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of the facility, ensuring on-time, cost-efficient production while maintaining high quality standards.

You will establish production standards, allocate resources, drive safety and lean initiatives, oversee quality management, budgeting and reporting, and build a high-performing, engaged workforce. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong budgeting, expense management, and basic financial principles.
• Proven leadership, team-building, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Ensure on-time, cost-efficient production while maintaining high quality standards.
• Establish and maintain production standards and schedules to meet company and customer requirements.
• Allocate human and equipment resources to achieve operational goals.
• Analyze productivity and efficiency data to improve performance and cost effectiveness.
• Lead safety program and site-wide safety initiatives, including inspections and investigations.
• Oversee quality management, reduce waste, and promote continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Develop and manage departmental budgets; review P&L and budget performance; prepare production and financial reports.
• Build a high-performing, engaged workforce; provide leadership, coaching, and performance management.
