Job summary

Hendrickson in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Plant Operations Manager to oversee multiple functional areas of the plant, including production, materials, purchasing, and manufacturing engineering. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve on-time delivery, productivity, safety, and cost containment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 15 years in manufacturing with engineering and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• 15+ years in manufacturing with engineering and project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing including 5S and theory of constraints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations including production, materials, purchasing, and manufacturing engineering.
• Improve shop floor controls, scheduling, inventory, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve on-time delivery, safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Lead training and development, ensure safety and nonunion workplace.
