Job summary

Flutes Hanna, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is seeking a Plant Manager in Indianapolis, IN to direct production, distribution, maintenance, receiving, and supervision at the plant. The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficient manufacturing while guiding cost control and workforce development.

You will lead multiple departments, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations, while fostering a positive, results-driven environment in a corrugated manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus college or technical courses.
• Minimum five years of proven managerial experience.
• Ten years of corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant departments to safety, quality, and efficient production.
• Coordinate production, distribution, and warehousing per policies.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and staff.
• Review costs and quality; adjust production and inventory control.
• Direct preparation of production, HR, and labor/cost records.
• Recommend budgets to management.
• Manage Pay for Skills program for production staff.
• Maintain relationships with sales and customer service management.
• Review financial performance to identify growth and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate safety, environmental, and training activities with HR.
• Oversee attendance; supervise subordinate managers; ensure direction and evaluation.
• Comply with policies and laws; train and appraise employees; handle issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
