Job summary

Pick Your Part in Iowa is seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee all plant functions including production, quality, safety, maintenance, receiving and shipping. The role involves leading staff, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement across departments.

You will manage relationships with customers, monitor KPIs, and participate in budgeting and policy implementation to support business goals. Prior experience in salvage yards is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience related to production, operations, and/or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departments for the facility including production, administration, distribution, and safety.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to promote retention and loyalty.
• Interact with customers to determine service needs and implement changes accordingly.
• Manage KPIs related to sales growth, collections, productivity, inventory control and margins.
• Establish budget projections and operate within the budget.
• Oversee product quality control and implement improvements.
• Handle HR tasks including hiring, termination, and reassignments.
• Identify deficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage with the local community and develop leadership at lead foreman level.
