Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an Operations Lead to assist the Production Manager and Operations Specialist in coordinating seed production, raw materials, and staffing to ensure safe, efficient operations at the Levelland plant. You will mentor operators, monitor safety, quality, and productivity, lead cycle counts, and drive continuous improvements to meet production plans and on-time delivery.

A high school diploma and 3+ years in agriculture/manufacturing with supervisory experience are required; Six

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years in agriculture, manufacturing or plant production with supervisory experience.
• Six Sigma or Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager and Operations Specialist with day-to-day tasks to ensure accurate production reporting and shift relief as needed.
• Monitor shift production to support safety, quality and throughput priorities.
• Provide coaching and leadership to operators and maintain policy compliance.
• Lead safe, efficient work environment and coordinate with planning on material shortages.
• Read inventory reports and support robust production procedures.
