Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, business management, or related field with equivalent applied experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, engineering, or performance-related roles.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and safety management practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling plant activities for safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance.
• Support safety processes and promote a strong safety culture throughout the plant.
• Develop and enforce safe work practices, ensure availability and proper use of safety equipment and training.
• Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and reporting findings.
• Contribute to long-range maintenance planning, capital improvements, and reliability initiatives.
• Support planning processes for maintenance, materials, QA/QC, HR, accounting, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; monitor performance and variances.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and company policies.
• Build relationships with local officials and stakeholders; act on behalf of Plant Manager when needed.
