Job summary

Nortekhvac is seeking a Custodial Technician in North Carolina responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. The role includes various cleaning and janitorial tasks, such as sweeping, trash removal, and operating equipment. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and basic reading and writing skills. Morning shifts are Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, with an hourly rate of $15.50 - $19.50.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• The ability to demonstrate basic reading and writing comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Perform various clean up and janitorial duties throughout the plant and office areas.
• Sweep and clean all floor surfaces as required.
• Clean outside surfaces and grounds of dirt and debris.
• Transport and empty trash and scrap bins.
• Operate the floor scrubber.
• Operate cardboard compactor machine.
• Operate trash compactor machine.
• Maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
• Report any unusual mechanical or operational conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
