Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Read and understand electrical drawings, including circuit and control diagnostics of a device (sensor or actuator)
  • Develop sensor / actuator plant model architecture in Simulink or appropriate virtual tool
  • Follow and set interface standards to be used by VHiL, HiL, SiL and CoSim environments for consumption
  • Define and execute test cases based on customer feedback and model development
  • Lead and execute device data acquisition collection to aid in characterization of performance and diagnostic responses of the device
  • Manage change management (enhancement, release notes, test cases, technical support) of a model
  • Define virtualization requirements for modeling, supplier, hardware and controls community
  • Bring various groups together to comprehend supplier, hardware, controls and diagnostics requirements
  • Ability to drive balance between long term and short term actuator and sensor virtualization model requirements (fidelity) between inhouse resources and supplier based solutions
  • Coordinate and balance virtual requirements between vehicle and propulsion domains of common devices
  • Collect and comprehend Vehicle Calibration differences and translate that into model design robustness for implementing variation
Qualifications
REQUIRED
  • BS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering
