Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years in mineral processing or plant metallurgy.
• Experience with metallurgical accounting, mass balancing, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize metallurgical performance to maximize recovery, quality, throughput, and efficiency.
• Analyze plant data to identify trends, losses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain metallurgical mass balances and support accurate metal accounting.
• Conduct metallurgical test work, plant surveys, sampling programs, and process audits as required.
• Optimize crushing, grinding, roasting, leaching, thickening, filtration, or other processing circuits.
• Support plant modifications, start-up/shutdown and process improvement projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering

Professional engineering certification/registration preferred

3–7 years of mineral processing or plant metallurgy experience
