Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with metabolite profiling, analytical instrumentation, and MS data interpretation.
• Ability to train others and oversee technical activities and instrument maintenance.
• Ability to understand and apply new complex methods in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple service projects and coordinate with collaborators and stakeholders are necessary.

Responsibilities

• GC-MS and/or LC-MS/MS metabolite profiling and associated sample preparation and data extraction. (50%)
• New analytical method development in consultation with literature, instrument upkeep and maintenance, inventory of supplies and reagents. (35%)
• Project consultation and management. (15%)
