Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic in mining, quarry, or industrial plant environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• MSHA certification preferred or may be required prior to start.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on processing plant equipment (crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and related machinery).
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and component replacement as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report on equipment condition and repairs completed.
• Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team, operators, and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
