Turner Staffing Group is hiring Ground Crew / Maintenance Technicians to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This role involves assisting with maintenance on heavy equipment, performing general labor tasks, and helping operators and supervisors with day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to grow within the mining or heavy equipment industry.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in mining, quarry, construction, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• MSHA certification preferred; may be required prior to start.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery
• Perform general labor duties including cleanup, shoveling, and site housekeeping
• Support equipment operators and maintenance personnel as needed
• Conduct inspections and report wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Assist with fueling, greasing, and servicing equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
• Work in and around active mining equipment safely and efficiently
