Job summary

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and troubleshoot using basic electrical, welding, carpentry, and mechanical skills.

The role emphasizes prioritizing production needs, safety, and timely completion of work orders, with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Tuesday–Saturday schedule. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred with 1–3 years of industrial experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years verifiable industrial mechanics, welding, and hydraulics experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as scheduled.
• Recognize proper operation and safety shutoffs on equipment.
• Use lock-out/tag-out devices as required.
• Operate a forklift.
• Use hand and power tools and welding/cutting equipment.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
