Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) required.
• Experience in precision stamping or molding preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate effectively.
• Safety/regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Engineers, ensuring direction, training, and evaluation.
• Build and manage the Engineering budget; meet finances.
• Oversee cost and manpower on projects.
• Manage new product launches.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing process standards.
• Improve engineering processes, structure, and performance.
• Define project management.
• Explore new materials and processes to improve quality and reliability.
• Maintain project documentation on schedule.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and customer impact.
• Ensure engineering disciplines are followed on development programs.
• Define and manage fixed and capital budgets.
• Strong shop floor experience in manufacturing/ mechanical/ process engineering.
• Manage performance of direct reports.
• Enforce safety regulations.
