Job Description

As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. You will ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment while fostering personal growth opportunities for all employees. You will accomplish staff results by setting job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Additionally, you will coach, counsel, and discipline employees, develop and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. You will establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information and evaluating personal networks.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, orient, and train employees to maintain staff.
  • Develop personal growth opportunities for employees.
  • Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
  • Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information.
  • Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, president, and other designated contacts within the organization.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Oversee daily operations.
  • Manage and recommend budget items.
  • Aid HR in resolving personnel issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce operation costs.

Work Environment

This role is based at Plant 1, a roasting facility equipped with oil and dry roasters. Please note that the facility is not temperature controlled, and windows are opened for air drying of the nuts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Solon, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $111000.00/yr.
