twiceasnice Recruiting seeks a Plant Manager for a transformer manufacturing facility in Buffalo, NY. You will oversee production operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time delivery.

The role blends office planning with hands-on floor leadership for supervision teams. The ideal candidate has transformer manufacturing experience, 7+ years in manufacturing, and 3+ years of plant management overseeing supervisors.

Formación

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of plant/production management experience leading supervisors.
• Transformer manufacturing experience required.
• Experience managing production & labor planning against demand & budget.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily transformer production operations to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery
• Directly manage 3 Supervisors and oversee Foremen, Team Leads, and production personnel
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce development to support company growth
• Conduct daily plant walkthroughs with management to review operations and priorities
• Monitor production performance KPIs including labor efficiency, downtime, and scrap
• Manage production staffing, labor capacity, and resource allocation against demand and budget
• Troubleshoot production challenges, resolve bottlenecks, and address quality concerns
• Own production execution, partnering with the Production Scheduler to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to maintain production workflows
• Support the rollout of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate customer visits, witness testing, and warranty investigations as needed
• Enforce safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices
