Job summary

Gibraltar Building Products seeks a Plant Manager in San Antonio to lead safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives at the DOT Metal facility. You will drive a culture of accountability, develop high-performing teams, and ensure customer expectations are met through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

The role requires strategic and hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and responsible management of budgets, metrics, and resources to achieve sustainable site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including leadership of managers and supervisors.
• Demonstrated success leading manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience managing budgets, operational metrics, and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture where every employee is empowered and expected to work safely.
• Lead production planning and execution to achieve on-time delivery targets while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators and drive actions to improve productivity, throughput, and schedule attainment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize disruptions and improve processes and costs.
• Develop and coach leaders to maximize performance and growth opportunities.
