Local HEAVY industrial plant has an immediate need for a Plant Manager with at least 10 years of experience in coal, waste to energy or power generation industry, along with a proven background in leadership to oversee day-to-day operations and meet long-term objectives.
Essential Qualifications
- Specifically seeking candidates with solid fuel experience—ranging from coal waste to energy biomass and other solid materials such as wood chips, paper pulp, and nutshells.
- The key requirement is hands‑on experience with solid fuels and 10+ years of experience in power generation, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in planning and executing facility outages efficiently, ensuring adherence to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) commitments.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or business required or equivalent experience.
- Experience building and maintaining a culture of environmental and safety excellence.
- Well‑versed in environmental compliance.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Oversee safe execution of outages.
- Proficient in developing sustainable facility budget forecasts to maximize financial contributions.
- Provide excellent leadership to encourage a culture of collaboration and safety.
