Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally related to safety, health, or science.
• High school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in power plants or similar environments.
• Proficient in OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations and safety protocols in industrial settings.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred.
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions (walking, standing, lifting).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company-specific safety standards while leading safety training initiatives.
• Conduct formal and informal safety inspections and monitor workplace safety.
• Lead accident investigations, complete root cause analyses, and handle related reporting.
• Collaborate with management and contractors to maintain high safety performance standards.
• Oversee health clinic interactions and manage the Medical Surveillance Program.
