Job summary

Miller Fabrication Solutions seeks a Plant Manager for its Brookville, PA facility. This on-site, full-time leadership role will oversee a ~75-employee operation, drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals, and guide a high-performing team built on strong mentorship and accountability.

The ideal candidate has a proven history of developing leaders, managing frontline supervisors, and applying Lean/Six Sigma approaches to continuous improvement while navigating budgets and metrics to support

Qualifications

• Proven track record building high-performing teams.
• 3+ years leading frontline supervisors or equivalent.
• Able to drive accountability, communication and teamwork.
• Data-driven: analyze, summarize and present recommendations for improvement.
• Comfort with budgets and plant operating metrics.
• Strong communication across all levels, from shop floor to leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience preferred.

Location: Brookville, PA (on-site) Reports to: Director of Manufacturing Team: ~75 employees Type: Full-time, salaried

Miller Fabrication Solutions is a 3rd generation family-owned Company with four plants across western Pennsylvania. We are one of the top OEM Fabricators in the country working to provide effective solutions to our customers. We provide a blend of family-owned culture in a professional environment.

We are looking for a Plant Manager for our Pine Creek manufacturing operations in Brookville, PA. This state-of-the-art plant, which opened in 2024,is the component producer for all other Miller operationsand is positioned for significant growth. The workforce is a good mix of experience and youth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Set the tone. Be a steady, encouraging presence on the floor. Build trust, strengthen the culture, and create a place people want to stay.
• Own safety, quality, cost and delivery goals and metrics for the plant
• Build and develop the team. Coach supervisors and production employees, recognize strong work, address issues fairly and directly, and grow the next generation of leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement. Partner with our Lean, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve methods, flow, and product quality.
• Create a positive work environment: listen to your employees, be involved, be visible, stay engaged!

WE NEED SOMEONE WITH

• A track record of building strong teams and developing people
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing frontline supervisors
• Experience to drive accountability, effective communication and teamwork.
• Experience to be data driven: understand, analyze, summarize, present recommendations to drive continuous improvement and drive changes where needed.
• Sound, decisive judgment and a comfort with operating budgets and plant operating metrics
• Strong communication skills at every level, from the shop floor to the leadership team
• Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent leadership experience

Additional skills that could position you as a stronger candidate:

• Manufacturing experience, especially in a fabrication or welding environment
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods
• Experience leading multi-shift operations
