Job summary

Kuert Concrete Inc. seeks a operations supervisor to manage daily plant operations and staff at the facility. You will oversee material inventories, lead drivers, and ensure safe and compliant practices in line with OSHA/DOT standards.

Responsibilities include accurate order processing, batching concrete, and fostering clear communication across delivery and plant teams. Strong leadership and a proactive safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years operation-related experience and minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong and effective communicator with the ability to support management of implementing and adapting to change.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Manage all material inventories.

• Inspect and correct unsafe conditions at the facility.
• Implement preventative maintenance actions for safe work environment.
• Review safety concerns in pre/post trip inspection reports.
• Ensure OSHA standards compliance in plant and fleet operations (DOT compliance).
• Communicate effectively to engage and motivate delivery and plant teams daily.
• Accurately process customer orders and provide product advice.
• Batch ready-mix concrete properties and ensure proper loading of product.

Job description

This position is responsible for the management of the daily operations of the concrete facility and associated staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of all material inventories
• Possess a positive attitude in servicing the local customer base
• Perform basic facility maintenance
• Provide leadership to drivers assigned to the location
• Monitor employee processes and behaviors to ensure that safe practices are incorporated in all daily activities
• Inspect and make necessary corrections to unsafe conditions that occur at the facility
• Implement preventative maintenance actions that promote a safe work environment
• Review and assess safety concerns in pre and post trip inspection reports
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards in and around the plant as well as fleet operations are compliant with DOT standards
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to engage with, and positively motivate delivery and plant teams on a daily basis
• Accurate processing of customer orders, providing appropriate product advice
• Responsible for batching ready mix concrete property, ensuring the product is loaded properly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of (2) years operation-related experience and minimum of (1) year supervisory or management experience preferred.
• A high School diploma or G.E.D is required
• Good working knowledge of Command Series
• Strong and effective communicator with the ability to support management of implementing and adapting to change
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate others.
• Computer skills in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Spanish speaking or bilingual a plus
