Job summary

Fisher Barton Inc. in Loves Park, IL is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations from production to policy compliance. This full-time position ensures manufacturing performance meets safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage production scheduling and inventory, develop reports on KPIs, and lead a high-performance team on the production floor with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Ten years manufacturing operations with five years at a managerial level of responsibility.
• Strong customer orientation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must.

Responsibilities

• Driving a safety-first culture; continuously improves and ensures compliance with all safety procedures.
• Directly leading and overseeing the scheduling and flow for production and inventory control to ensure cost effectiveness, efficient labor utilization/performance and meets quality standards.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives to drive improved efficiencies, reduce costs and improve the work environment.
• Developing and maintaining reports on production data, metrics and KPIs which drive and measure operational performance, Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
• Partnering with the local leadership team to ensure the execution of the production schedules are optimized to the targeted completion dates, supporting Fisher Barton’s SIOP process.
