Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in statistics, quality methods and basic financial principles.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to understand and exceed customer expectations.
• Influence, negotiate and resolve conflict to reach consensus.
• Experience in recruiting, leading, and developing a team.
• Direct experience in continuous improvement via statistical methods.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and S&OP processes.
• Computer literacy: MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher.
• Self-starter, highly organized, and able to manage change.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of the Management Team in Safety, Production, Maintenance, CI, Administration (Finance and HR) to obtain optimum facility efficiency.
• Provide leadership to the facility, manufacturing operations and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations and positive work environment.
• Maximize output in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Communicate strategy, policies and goals to the Management Team.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in manufacturing, using data to drive improvements.
• Oversee capital projects and provide support to Management staff.
• Collaborate with department managers to standardize processes and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Commercial and Supply Chain to meet customer needs.
• Support SQF Housekeeping and Food Safety Programs.
