Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Plant Manager in Otsego, MI to oversee daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance and safety, and to drive overall plant performance and cost efficiency.

We look for leaders with 7+ years in manufacturing, a track record in lean manufacturing (Six Sigma a plus), strong budget management, and the ability to mentor diverse teams. This is a full-time, on-site role with salary range $141,000–$192,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Strong leadership for talent development and team building.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet production targets and reduce costs.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality systems.
• Lead continuous improvement through lean manufacturing.
• Administer the plant budget and monitor expenditures.
• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, and engineering on schedules.
