HandCraft Linen and Uniform Services in High Point, NC is seeking an experienced Industrial Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, staffing, budgeting and safety compliance. The role requires leadership across cross-functional teams, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining efficiency and quality in the laundry environment.

• Minimum of 6 years of management experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to plan, organize and direct production activities.
• Staff management: hire, schedule, train, and evaluate performance.

Location: High Point, NC / Salary: $95,000 to $100,000 including Bonus and Excellent Benefits

HandCraft Linen and Uniform Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Plant Manager to join our team in High Point, NC!

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity. The Plant Manager will monitor processes to ensure efficiency and compliance in the industrial/manufacturing process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance processes, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. Plant Manager Responsibilities:

• Operations Management to include plan, organize and direct daily operations
• Staff Management to include oversee, hire, schedule, train and perform evaluations
• Budget and Financial Management to develop and manage the plants budget. Monitor expenses and identify areas of cost savings.
• Safety Compliance to ensure all plant operations are in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
• Communications and Coordination to include working effectively with other departments and stakeholders. Plant representation at meetings and presentations. Accurate record keeping of all plant operations.

Additional Preferred Plant Manager Requirements:

• Preferred commercial or industrial laundry operations.
• Minimum of 6 years of management experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
• Experience ensuring quality and adhering to set standards.
• Experience in planning, assigning, reviewing and evaluating the work of others.
• Preferred knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills are essential, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to equipment, process and staff performance.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory and staff effectively.
• Experience providing excellent customer service.
