Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging is seeking a Plant Manager for its Hutchinson, MN facility. You’ll lead day-to-day operations, driving safe, efficient, high-quality production while building a culture of accountability and engagement on the plant floor.

You’ll partner with multiple functions to meet customer expectations and drive long-term performance, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. This is a hands-on leadership role on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably packaging/paper related.
• 5+ years in production or operations leadership.
• Proven ability to drive safety, quality, productivity, and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations at the Hutchinson facility ensuring safe, efficient production.
• Build relationships across employees and foster accountability and teamwork.
• Maintain presence on the production floor, coaching leaders and staff in real time.
• Champion safety and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Partner with Sales, Service, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality to meet objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and monitor key metrics.
• Champion lean systems and standard work across the plant.
• Manage labor, operating expenses, and resources to hit targets.
• Support capital projects and equipment improvements.
