The Plant Manager leads a team to success while ensuring a safe and injury/incident-free environment in our fast-paced plant. They motivate, coach, and inspire by demonstrating, promoting, and applying Georgia-Pacific's Principles Based Management (PBM) in daily actions and decisions to deliver maximum value to the business and our customers.   • Facilitate team and employee development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership, and holding employees accountable.
  • Take accountability for safety, quality, and efficiency through leadership, individual ownership and accountability, teamwork, and delegation.
  • Use critical & economic thinking, challenge process, and team collaboration to resolve issues and drive innovation, efficiency, and safety excellence.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment, -- OR -- six (6) years of leadership experience in the Gypsum industry
  • Transformation experience utilizing automation and advanced technology to improve operations.
  • Experience utilizing constraint analysis and continuous improvement to prioritize work and solve complex issues.
  • Experience coaching, counseling, and developing employees.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical or business Program
  • Previous Gypsum experience

For this role, we anticipate paying $145,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
