Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Faison, NC seeks a Plant Manager to provide overall leadership for the facility’s operations, driving safety, quality, and production performance to meet business objectives. You will partner with site leadership to engage employees and deliver results, cost control, and continuous improvement across the plant.

The role requires Lean manufacturing knowledge, a minimum of five years in food manufacturing leadership, and the ability to lead in a union environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in a production or food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and leadership to team members in engagement, safety, quality, customer service, continuous improvement, cost, and equipment reliability to elevate the team’s performance.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety policies/protocols.
• Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of the operations strategy to achieve safety, quality and performance improvement.
• Lead the continuous improvement program to deliver opportunities in cost, quality, food safety and service.
• Utilize data including OEE and line speed target to improve productivity, uptime, and reliability.
