Job Summary
Overall responsibility for a plant within the regional fleet, which may include multiple sites and mine sites. Provide management and direction for safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, operation, maintenance, technical and engineering support, long and short-term planning, O&M resource planning, capital resource planning, project and contractor management, staffing, employee and team development, employee and labor relations, communication, and community relations, including site and equipment demolition.
Job Description
Responsible for all plant/multi-plant/mine site operations within the fleet. Ensure generation and mining requirements are met efficiently and reliably. Manage compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Develop and oversee capital and O&M budgets to meet financial goals. Collaborate with internal and external partners. Administer company policies, labor agreements, and work rules, including grievance processes and contract negotiations. Represent Vistra in legal and community affairs to support company interests and maintain good relations with local governments, civic groups, law enforcement, and the media. Lead and develop a diverse workforce.
