Job summary

Voltava is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the Android production operation within a customer-centric unit. You will oversee materials, assembly, shipping, quality control, maintenance, and manufacturing engineering, developing policies to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives, while building HR bench strength across production.

You will drive lean initiatives, implement SOPs, manage KPIs, and ensure IATF 16949/ISO14001 compliance, fostering a safe, high-performing environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years in increasingly complex management positions with automotive industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes.
• Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvements.
• Vision to translate operating techniques into results.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing financial principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the leadership team; develop their skills.
• Plan, coordinate and direct all manufacturing activities: safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery.
• Staff plant appropriately to meet budgeted financial performance.
• Utilize KPIs to monitor and improve plant performance.
• Drive lean manufacturing using SOPs, standard work, and JSA.
• Deploy policy to improve productivity and cost reduction; meet customer expectations.
