Job description

Foster Conner International is conducting an exclusive search for a Plant Manager to lead an electrical equipment manufacturer. The plant is busy and scaling to several times its current size rapidly, so this is a chance to build the leadership team and operating system, not just run what already exists.

You will oversee production, assembly, and scheduling, own the Master Production Schedule, and develop the supervisors and team leads who will carry the plant as volume climbs. In your first year, success means on-time delivery, zero quality escapes, and a zero-injury safety culture. You will report to a senior operations leader, with a real path to a larger role as the business grows, and a strong relocation package is available.

What you bring:
  • 10 to 15 plus years in manufacturing, including 8 plus as a Plant Manager or senior operations leader
  • Switchgear or similar electrical equipment experience, which is a must
  • Strong production scheduling and assembly knowledge
  • A hands-on presence on the shop floor
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • Previous manufacturing experience in engineered solutions
