Avient Corporation is seeking a Plant Manager for the Minneapolis site to lead safety, environmental, quality, production and cost performance. You will develop operating plans, secure needed resources, and drive plant improvements in alignment with the business strategy.
The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background, plastics formulation experience, and proven ability to manage direct reports in a manufacturing setting.
The Plant Manager is responsible for effectively planning, directing andcoordinating all activities for the operations at assigned plant. These activities include safety, environmental, quality, production and cost.
Education and Experience
Bachelors - Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
Technical background with specific experience in formulation in plastics industry preferred
Experience with managing direct reports
