Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take charge of a bustling plant, overseeing all daily operations from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The successful candidate will have the key skills to develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
  • Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
  • Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
  • Manage and implement strategies for waste reduction and greater efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budget and production metrics.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Quality teams to understand and meet customer requirements.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
  • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Plant Manager in the Manufacturing industry with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proven managerial experience with a deep knowledge of production management.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • BSc/Ba in Business Management or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team. They will have a strong understanding of the manufacturing process and will be able to implement and manage change effectively. We are looking for a strong leader with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and operationally.
