Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the(Location) plant with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and leadership. The role includes owning the annual budget, championing capital projects, and driving a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in science or engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and a track record of problem solving, rapid execution, and strong team leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing the plants annual operating budget
• Requesting capital authorization applications for capital expenditures

• Building and maintaining product employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction

If Hartsville…. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in beautiful Hartsville, SC and close to exciting destinations (Myrtle Beach, SC Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC). If hard to fill location, include local selling points if relocation anticipated.

• You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience)
• You have 10 years of practical and relevant experience which is preferred
