Job summary

The Plant Manager position at CRH is an onsite role located in Franklin, TN, overseeing overall plant operations to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. You will lead production, maintenance, and inventory activities while ensuring team performance and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise employees, drive training, and implement preventive maintenance programs, all while maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment that supports CRH's goals.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience providing on-the-job training to team members including forklift/bobcat/loader operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Ability to motivate teams and handle conflicts while maintaining safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations.
• Visually inspect and test machinery; set up and operate equipment.
• Monitor for unusual machine sounds and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
• Operate forklift as directed following safety policies.
• Inspect work in progress and finished products; oversee preventive maintenance.
• Track inventory and parts usage; analyze production scorecards.
• Train, promote, and discipline employees; ensure safety rules are followed.
• Supervise department to meet quality and production standards.

Job Summary

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall plant operations, including all production and ensuring all employees strive to meet the standards set forth by the company for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Preventative Maintenance, and Housekeeping.

Job Location

This is an onsite position located in Franklin, TN.

Job Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Set up and operate machinery
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
• Operateforklift as directed and without supervision while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures
• Inspectwork in progress and finished product
• Oversee the daily preventive maintenance program
• Track/report inventory and parts usage
• Analyze scorecards and day shift production reports

• Train, promote, and discipline employees
• Ensure all safety rules are followed and employee follow safety program
• Supervise employees in department to ensure they meet quality and production standards
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience providing on the job training to team members to include but not limited to the operation of forklift, bobcat, loader, and development of production machine troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to motivate, engage teams, and handle conflicts
• Able to work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures
