Job Description

PURPOSE: Primarily responsible for ensuring that the company goals and objectives are met in a timely and accurate manner.

JOB SUMMARY: To build a good image of the company, achieve company safety and performance goals, work, and train Production Supervisors, develop programs to keep costs in line, maintain quality of linen, control production costs, meet inventory cost initiatives, and achieve employee turnover goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide training and follow-up on department personnel to ensure they perform their jobs according to their descriptions. Offer daily/weekly coaching to improve supervisor effectiveness.
• Collaborate with HR to determine hiring, training, and employee development needs.
• Take responsibility for Production Supervisors in their absence.
• Manage PTO and leave schedules for Supervisors.
• Support KPI goals in consultation with the General Manager.
• Ensure employees are introduced to company objectives, policies, and safety standards, providing proper training to new hires.
• Recommend and support incentive programs that enhance production and reduce labor costs.
• Maintain familiarity with regulatory requirements, including HLAC compliance.
• Stay industry-aware through visits, meetings, and exposure.
• Review production and performance records routinely with Supervisors.
• Establish and measure performance against standards and SOPs for each job.
• Coordinate with sales, service, and office staff regarding production schedules, quality, and customer concerns, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Work with Maintenance on equipment repairs, maintaining documentation and follow-up.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns.
• Oversee warehouse and manage linen inventory levels.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met daily.
• Maintain plant organization and cleanliness through 5S processes.
• Ensure accountability at all organizational levels for consistent results.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
