Job summary

Maschmeyer Concrete Company is seeking a dependable Plant Maintenance Technician to service its Ready-Mix Concrete Plants across Florida. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, valves, motors and related plant equipment.

The role requires 3–5 years of technical experience, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and willingness to travel up to 100% across Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee and Polk counties.

Qualifications

• Electrical wiring experience, preferred.
• Pneumatic experience, preferred.
• Plumbing experience, preferred.
• Fabrication experience, preferred.
• Welding experience, preferred.
• Heavy equipment operation experience, preferred.
• Valid Driver License with driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time with minimal supervision.
• Travel throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee, and Polk counties (up to 100% of day).
• Full-Time availability to include 7-days a week and Overnight shifts, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently diagnose and repair plant equipment in case of a mechanical breakdown.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs.
• Ability to read and understand operations/manuals and diagrams.
• Identify projects and prioritize work to maximize plant productivity.
• Communicate and coordinate plant repairs and maintenance status with operations team.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

**Maschmeyer Concrete** is currently seeking a dependable and highly-motivated **Plant Maintenance Technician** to join our teams at our Ready-Mix Concrete Plants in major cities throughout Florida.The primary responsibility of the **Plant Maintenance Technician** is to maintain and repair our ready-mix concrete production facilities and corresponding equipment; such as conveyor components, pneumatic cylinders and gates, valve banks, water pumps, water and air lines, electrical motors, and other plant equipment related to our concrete plants.
