Job summary

The Sunrock Group is seeking a Plant Utility Person to support day-to-day operations, maintenance, and housekeeping at asphalt, concrete, or aggregate plants. The role involves operating equipment (Haul Truck, Skid steer, Front-end loader, Dump truck, Sweeper), assisting with repairs, and maintaining records with strict safety adherence.

Applicants should have basic mechanical knowledge, be able to read instructions, and work independently across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year of related industrial, plant, or mechanical experience preferred.
• OSHA/MSHA safety policies awareness and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day plant operations and housekeeping across locations.
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues.
• Operate equipment such as Haul Truck, Skid steer, Front-end loader, Dump truck, and Sweeper.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs, including lubricating machinery and replacing parts.
• Maintain maintenance records and report completed work.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
