Job summary

OnSite Concrete Solutions, LLC is seeking a Plant Mechanic to oversee efficient operation of plant equipment. The role involves mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance with travel across Louisiana and Texas.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance while ensuring safety rules are followed and paperwork is accurately completed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate independent reasoning and judgment.
• Must be able to work in and contribute to production improvement, associate involvement and temporary teams as assigned.
• Possess basic plumbing, and general facilities/building maintenance, machining, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, drafting, and blueprint reading knowledge.
• General mechanical skills and knowledge relate to troubleshooting and service various equipment

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair all mechanical and electrical equipment and share knowledge of applicable mechanical concepts/principles to other maintenance personnel.
• Observes all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Assures Preventative maintenance program is conducted on all plant equipment and report and qualify results.
• Provides emergency unscheduled repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Inform the appropriate facility personnel/supervisors of any necessary modifications or system malfunctions that would affect their area of operation.
• Monitor, complete, and maintain efficient and accurate paperwork as needed.
• Performs any other related miscellaneous duties assigned by their leader.
