Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Republic Powdered Metals facility in Medina, OH. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant manufacturing and facilities equipment and grounds to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on skills in mechanical, electrical, welding, and HVAC tasks, with a focus on safe, efficient maintenance practices. Benefit packages are provided and include health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

Experience with preventive maintenance and repair on plant equipment and facilities.
Ability to operate maintenance tools and perform welding as needed.
Comfort with electrical, HVAC, plumbing tasks and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

Preheats production equipment for daily startup.
Performs daily condition checks on operating equipment.
Lubricates equipment according to schedule.
Maintains lubricant levels for mixer seal systems and related lubrication.
Checks and maintains air filters, air compressors, cooling tower, and algicide feeding system.
Performs minor electrical maintenance and operates shop tools, welding and cutting.
Keeps maintenance shop clean and safe, follows safety practices.
