Job summary

ECOS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in our Lacey, WA facility. The role supports manufacturing operations and requires hands-on work with filling equipment, reading manuals, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with filling equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production equipment and machinery in the facility.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and adjust equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Maintain inventory of equipment spares and order supplies as needed.
• Perform minor building/HVAC/plumbing/electrical/painting repairs as required.
• Track equipment information and warranty details for future reference.
• Cross-train on roles within the production line and assist on special projects.
