Athens in Irwindale is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain motors, conveyors, and production machinery. You will diagnose components, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with welding tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, dismantling devices for access, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies. A valid Class C license and own tools are required, with local plant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance/repair experience in a production environment.
• Fabrication knowledge for welding and cutting processes.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues safely.
• Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and own tools.

Responsibilities

• Observe, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and replace them.
• Follow safety rules and company policies on OSHA compliance.
• Maintain, repair and clean MRF equipment and conveyors.
