Job summary

The Wonderful Company seeks a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to support pistachio and almond production in California's Central Valley. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across facilities and equipment, including HVAC, conveyors, and building components.

Welding and driving responsibilities are included in daily tasks. Ideal candidates bring basic math, strong safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to communicate with leadership.

Qualifications

• High school math skills required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication with zone leader and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of facility equipment and building systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain fixtures and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC and compressed-air systems.
• Operate ladders, forklifts, and other equipment safely.
• Record work status and communicate repair details.
• Assist with production equipment maintenance as needed.
