Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong hydraulic and pneumatic, mechanical skills with PLC exposure.
• Experience with bindery and finishing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and read/write English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance manuals.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs during production.
• Perform simple machinist duties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Handle plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Use hand tools, meters, and handling equipment for duties.
• Report faults or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
