Job Description:

Plant Maintenance Technician will assist in maintaining a water treatment plant at a mine reclamation project near in Holden Village, a remote area on the north end of Lake Chelan in central Washington.

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Implement and maintain an equipment maintenance program.
2. Forecast needs for plant maintenance.
3. Order replacement parts and consumables as they are used.
4. Provide accurate reporting of plant and personnel daily operations.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
6. Be responsible for an accurate inventory and location of all spare parts and consumables.

Schedule and Travel Requirements:

1. Working schedule is a rotation - 14 days on 14 days off.
2. Boat rides from Fields Point Landing are provided.

Compensation and Benefits:

1. Starting pay is $34.00-$37.00 per hour - DOE.
2. Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
3. 401(k) match on eligible wages and available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.
4. Living accommodations, meals and laundry services are provided.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Experience working on remote jobsites or locations.
2. Previous experience in plant operations, preferably water/wastewater treatment plants.
3. Background in construction or operations.
4. Experience with heavy machinery.
5. CESCEL, OSHA, WISHA, HAZWOPER, DOE training and certifications a plus but not mandatory.
6. Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
7. Fit-for-Work physical required.
