Qualifications

  • Ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Provide technical input on equipment lifecycle and purchases.
  • Coordinate material movement and contribute to Six Sigma projects.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Schedule and oversee repair, modification, and maintenance activities; support the development and review of standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in process safety activities including HAZOPs and FMEAs and act as a site liaison with the corporate process safety group; oversee new equipment installations.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed by maintenance and operations personnel.
  • Provide technical input on equipment lifecycle and new equipment purchases.
  • Coordinate material and equipment movement, contribute to Six Sigma projects, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (preferred) or high school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, and Operating Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of welding techniques.
  • Experience with high‑pressure piping systems and familiarity with cryogenic pumps and systems.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications.
Location

This role will be based out of Central Cal/Bay Area.
