Job summary

Mount Franklin Foods seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead equipment design, repair, and preventive maintenance in a Texas plant. You will develop and oversee EAM systems, train staff, and coordinate safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include supervising technicians, improving MTTR, and coordinating with suppliers for parts and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or 3 years in plant maintenance as a supervisor.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and electrical/electronic knowledge.
• Ability to manage safety, GMPs, and maintenance procedures in a food manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Performs research, design, and development of production equipment.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, modifying, and maintaining plant equipment.
• Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system (EAM).
• Plans, coordinates, and follows up on preventive maintenance activities.
• Hires and supervises maintenance technicians; conducts performance reviews.
• Ensures training on operating procedures and safety standards.
