Job summary

Allient Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead 1–2 maintenance staff at the Oshkosh, WI facility. You will oversee mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across plant and office areas, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management, working with external vendors, and supervising daily maintenance tasks. Strong knowledge of maintenance trades and ERP systems is expected, with a focus on efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma plus formal apprenticeship/associate degree in electro-mechanical tech.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license; Journeyman Electrician license preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience: 4–5 years in industrial manufacturing maintenance; 2–5 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge: Maintenance trades including painting, electrical, carpentry, millwright; familiar with HVAC and material handling.
• Other Qualifications: Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance and repair work for plant equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with external service providers for quotes or specialized work.
• Coordinate daily maintenance tasks with production and supervise in the supervisor's absence.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions; repair and test equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; monitor energy use and plant conditions.
• Train staff on maintenance tasks, safety policies, and procedures; enforce safety rules.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts, and work performed.
