Job summary

Crystal Creamery, Inc. in Modesto is seeking a Plant Maintenance Parts Clerk for Sunday through Thursday swing shift.

The role focuses on parts procurement, stock control, and support for maintenance teams, ensuring availability of materials and timely replenishment. You will manage MRO inventory, work with MP2 and labeling systems, coordinate with vendors and the Engineering Dept, and uphold GMPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Provide MRO support to maintenance in parts availability and vendor support.
• Receive items and locate them into stock locations daily.
• Develop supply room best practices and integrate with maintenance planning.
• Maintain procurement system catalog in MP2.
• Identify obsolete or surplus inventory and optimize levels.
• Perform daily cycle count reviews and keep stock locations updated.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift turnover to support techs with parts requests.
• Communicate part requests with management diligently.
• Works with maintenance on forecasts, dead stock, obsolescence, and excess inventory.
• Operate plant computer systems and support GMP compliance.
• Assist with PM rebuild kits and know where stock is kept.
• Support Safe Food Quality (SQF) initiatives and document procedures.
